Active Days not updating

I had previously noted that the app recognizing an Active Day took a while some times.  I had an activity yesterday that registered over 40 zone minutes but did not show as an active day activity.  I played basketball and that normally shows up.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your basketball game didn't count as an active day activity. Thank you for providing the additional details, I am glad to assist you. Most Fitbit devices automatically recognize and record high-movement activities through the SmartTrack feature. SmartTrack recognizes activities based on the continuous movement of your arms. Sometimes, motions such as placing your arms on the bar of a treadmill, or pushing a stroller while you walk, may interrupt SmartTrack. Additionally, stopping in the middle of an exercise may interrupt the activity tracking.

By default, SmartTrack recognizes an exercise that lasts at least 15 minutes. If your activities aren't being recognized, lowering the time auto-exercise recognition setting to 10 minutes may help ensure they record properly. For more information, see Which activities does my Fitbit device track automatically?

On certain devices, you can use the Exercise app to start and stop a workout. Find more information at Which workouts can I track in the Exercise app on my Fitbit device? You can also manually log your exercises by following these steps: How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?

Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I also have this issue. Today I did a 30 minute HIIT workout —which my new inspire2 auto recognized on Thursday—and although the zone minutes and heart rate were recognized and logged, the app is showing no exercise for today.

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you're experiencing the same issue with your Inspire 2. I appreciate the additional details. SmartTrack recognizes activities based on the continuous movement of your arms. Since HIIT workout combines high-intensity exercises with rest periods, the activity tracking may be interrupted. As an alternative option, you can use exercise mode on your device to ensure all your activities are recorded. For more information, see Which workouts can I track in the Exercise app on my Fitbit device?

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

I'll be around if you have any questions.

Hello

I did HIIT training yesterday and the day before and Fitbit did log the minutes and my heartrate and everything else correctly. It just didn't update my daily exercise graph thingy.

I need it to update automatically because it then syncs with my medical aid and then I get points for being active etc. It won't sync with my medical aid if the exercise days don't update automatically.

In the past it did update automatically but now it just doesn't want to. I did restart my fitbit, logged out of app etc but it's still not working. Please help!

This does not address the issue of the exercise days not registering.
