Hi ,
My girlfriend has just had a Fitbit charge 3 . When adding friends it shows only about 5 of her iPhone contacts in the ‘Without Fitbit’ section and doesn’t even show the ‘With Fitbit’ section. (Fitbit has access in iPhone settings)
It just continues to rotate the gear icon in the Facebook section without ever getting anywhere.
Its mainly the contacts route we would like to use
We reinstalled the app .
Running all latest IPhone updates to IOS.
I’m familiar with the app as I’ve used my own Charge 2 since 2016 so it’s not just something we’re doing wrong.
Any help appreciated.

How many of here friends with fitbits use the same Fitbit email that your friend has registered for them.
If your going through Facebook's, then her friends would also need to have their face book accounts linked.
You could also use the option to send a request by email.

She only has one email. Not one single contact shows with Fitbit . Not even me. She also can’t view her own friends. Facebook just shows the rotation gear :gear: cog without getting anywhere.

I am having the same problem with my new FitBit Charge 3. I have lots of friends with FitBit that I'd like to connect with, but none of them are showing up, so I cannot add them. They can not find me either, even though I gave them my email address that is being used for the app. Very frustrating.

I don't understand why someone would say that they are having the same problem with their tracker? Do you really request friends through the tracker on the wrist?
This issue has nothing to do with the tracker.

Yes several have, see above.
@MrAlex the email of your friends need to have their Fitbit email they use.
But there is several more ways to invite.
Send an invite to their email address is one way. Setup up a QR code with your profile page and let your friends scan it. Are two ways.

I’m having the same issue. When I use the app it doesn’t show me any contacts with a Fitbit and I know there are a few that have it. It only shows 2 contacts which do not have a Fitbit and I know that there are more.

Have your friends connected the email address that you have for them?
Do yo know and can copy and paste an email?
Or simply send them a link to your profile.

This is the case with absolutely everyone in the address book. Ok the odd one may have used a different email address but I feel the answer is. It down this road .
