After updating to 2.86, the Notifications's red dot is showing up.

Ever since I updated to 2.86. every time I open the app on my iPad it tells me I have a notification, but when I go to Notifications there is nothing there. On the web page I have no new notifications or messages--in fact, the last notification is more than a year old and the last message is 59 days ago. It certainly looks like you folks broke something with the last update.

Updates: turning bluetooth off makes no difference. I tried logging out and logging back in, and the year-old notifications are now gone--it says No notifications to display--but the red dot is still there. Please make it go away!

I just came here to report the same issue on iPhone.  Every time I open the app it says there is a new notification.  There isn't.
Started with the latest update.

I am having the same issue except that two old messages have reappeared.  One from 83 days ago and the other from 90 days ago.  This is on my iPhone.  I have an Ionic.
