My fitbit Alta doesn't automatically sync in the background even though I have "Background App Refresh" selected in my iphone settings and "All Day Sync" selected in the fitbit app. As I only go into the app occasionally my exercise can be several days behind time and my weekly e-mails and friend leagues badly out of date! Not really important, just curious as my wife has the same model of fitbit and phone and hers seems to work fine... Any help much appreciated 🙂

Hi @DogDyer. The cause could be a number of things. Tap here for trouble shooting tips. One thing to keep in mind is this — in order for the sync to occur, your iPhone must be in WiFi or cellular range with Bluetooth turned on. Being in WiFi range could be the difference between your sync and your wife’s. Please check out the tips, then let us know how it goes.
