All-day sync not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have always had the all-day sync function on (green) but the device only ever syncs when I’m in the app. I didn’t look at the app for the past few days and when I got my weekly report this morning it hadn’t logged any steps or activity since Friday morning so my weekly total was about 40,000 down and I only had 4/7 days activities. This was an issue with my old charge 2 as well as the new charge 3 - shouldn’t it just keep track of my activities without me needing to sync in the app? I had an issue with activity tracking a couple of weeks ago and I  reset the charge 3 so it’s running the latest software and I have updated my iPhone 11 to the latest iOS as well. Nothing seems to make any difference. What am I missing? Please help 😕

Hi @Ktblonde. It's good to see you here.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and making sure to have your Charge 3 and your iPhone updated to the latest version. I'm sorry for the difficulties that you've had with this function not working correctly, and let's work on this together. Please verify if the Fitbit app is also updated and give a try to the following steps:

  1. Remove any device from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  2. Turn off the All-Day Sync on the Fitbit app.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon > Charge 3 > Sync now.
  5. Enable the All-Day Sync and tap on Notifications so you can be prompted to pair via Bluetooth.

Your Charge 3 should now be able to sync automatically with the Fitbit app as long as the Fitbit app is running on the background and the Bluetooth enabled.

Let me know how everything goes.
