Alta syncs to my iPad, but not my iPhone

I initially set up my Alta using my iPad.  Now, the information from my Alta will update on my iPad, but not my iPhone.  I was able to log into my account on my iPhone, but now when I try to sync there first (before syncing with my iPad) the top bar will just say Looking... and not connect.  I've tried removing the Alta from my phone and setting it up again, but I have the same problem.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing this situation with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried in hopes to resolve this issue.

If you have synced with an iPad before it's possible your Alta has established a Bluetooth link with it, which is preventing the tracker from syncing with your iPhone. At this moment I would like to suggest you to go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. After that, turn off the Bluetooth on your iPad and try to sync with your iPhone.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
