So like may others I have updated to iOS 10.0.1 but the app now crashes when I manually enter my weight. Has anyone else had this issue yet and is there a solution to his yet?

@frosty64 It's great to see you in the Community! I would like you to log out of the app, turn off your phone and turn in back on. Once this has been done, open the app, log in and try logging your weight one more time.

@JuanJoFitbit Hi, Today I have upgraded to the iPhone 7 Plus and so far I haven't experienced this issue on the phone, however it still exists with my iPad Air 2. I have logged out and in again and entered but it still persists, I have also deleted the app and reinstalled but alas the problem is still there. I mostly use the iPhone so I guess it's not so much of a problem anymore.

Cheers 😀

@JuanJoFitbit I made the mistake of updating the Fitbit iOS app on my phone to version 2.27 and the app now crashes again whenever I manually enter my weight. So I logged out, powered off and on again, re logged in as you suggested but it still crashes. I have also deleted the app and reinstalled it but still the same.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. 😀

@frosty64, I notice a lot of people having lots of problems with converting from Fitbit app version 2.26 to 2.27. You said you have iPhone 7. So when you got your phone did you upgrade to iOS 10 or did it already have version 10 installed? Problems I have been reading are about crashing and steps not tracking ,your the first for crashing when entering your weight. I know it's frustrating and you are probably tired of turning off and on, reinstalling but here is a note that might help.

@frosty64, oops here are note
For clarification:
I have an iPhone 6S+.
I upgraded to iOS 10 a few days ago.
I tried everything, nothing worked.
I then found the FitBit app update this afternoon in the App Store, updated it.
After realized it still crashed repeatedly, I did the "forget this device" on my Bluetooth.
Then I deleted the app again.
I downloaded the app in the App Store again.
I opened the app and saw that it was still not syncing but no longer crashed.
I opened the FitBit app and went to "account."
I touched "Set Up a Device" and followed all the directions.
It took a while for the connection.
Then my phone asked me to pair my FitBit with the Bluetooth.
NOW it all works. Hallelujah!

Hey @eeshanagarwal welcome to the Community. I haven't read anything about it so far. Try rebooting your cellphone to see if it makes any difference.

Let me know how it goes!

I have been having some trouble with the app and the weight function in particular since the update. For me, the app crashes every time I log a weight. As soon as it hit save, the app blinks away and the home screen shows up. It doesn't seem to crash when just scrolling through the weight history or viewing the chart. (iPhone 6 iOS 10.0.1).

I have this problem too. I'm glad the log entry is still present, even after the crash, but please don't let that keep you from fixing this bug.
