So I couldn't find a thread to answer this, and here we are. At any given point when I open the Fitbit App on my phone, it will have either a very nice looking orientation with the step goal at the top and all corresponding goals as small circles filled in according to my activity, then below, in large square buttons, options to view my sleep activity, exercise for the week, food and water consumption, etc. Or at other times, it will be a very bland display of an itemized list of the goals going down. Maybe I'm just a child who enjoys pictures and smiley faces, but I just don't like the list format. Is there a way to force the app display the way I like it to? If it helps, I am using an iphone 5.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @BeardedMenace.
It sounds like you were using a new app design that we were trying out. As a result, your Fitbit app may have looked different from the standard version of the App, but rest assured that both versions have the same functionality.
Since the test is over, there unfortunately is not a way to revert back to the test version of the App, but it is possible that you may see some design aspects from the test version of the App be implemented in future versions of the Fitbit iOS App.
Hope this provides some clarification.
