I just tried to download the fitbit app from the app store to an iphone5s. The app store shows a message saying 'This item is no longer available'. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Tell me, which iOS version is your phone running? Have you updated your phone recently? t's possible the App Store is giving you that message because older versions of the OS might not support the latest Fitbit app version.

Hello, I have a similar issue. My iPhone 6 is running iOS 10. I can't download the app, and get a message saying "This item is no longer available." I do not have problems downloading other apps. I am trying to download iOS 11, but I'm currently having problems. I just got my Fitbit today and would very much like to use it.
