When I go to change the user arm the app closes and goes back to my home page.

Support solved a different problem. The app was not showing my activity scores and my tracker was showing 17. We fixed that problem but later I found that I could not change from my dominate arm to the non-dominate. When I tap the inspire icon to go to the level where the selection for the arm to use the app dumps me back out to my home page. I am not sure how we got there but I have tried a number of things but it still will not work. It seamed like the new update 2 days ago was done the just after we got the first problem occurred. I know I am getting very disappointed with the Fitbit application. I am thinking of getting a Versa 3 but I am not sure I want to deal with the app not working.
I only have had my tracker a month so. I hope the whole Fitbit thing is better that my experience so far.
