App congratulating me for meeting step count goal well before I meet it

Hi everyone! 

 

Recently, my fitbit app has been sending me notifications congratulating me for meeting my step goal before I get to it! 

My step goal is set at 10,000 steps and most recently I was at 1,113 when it sent me the message. 

I also get notifications saying 'wow, 10,300 steps over your daily step goal', when I haven't even made it to 3000 steps yet. 

Has anyone else had this issue? 

I have the fitbit versa 3 and an iPhone 12.

@MollyH98   I'm moving your post to the iOS app forum.  It looks like a better fit for your issue, since you wrote that you are getting these notifications from your app.
