App crashing after latest update (3.39)

Updated fitbit app on my ipad running latest ios, ever since after brining up my account , then clicking on charge 4 icon, app immediately shuts down and disappears.

 

tried deleting app and reloading, still the same.

 

web version still works ok.

 

any ideas anyone?

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend doing the following:

 

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your iPad.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.

If the issue persists, try to clear your iPad cache by following these steps

It is still happening, but only on iPad.

 

New up date works on iphone.

 

must be a compatibility issue with ipad ios?
