App deleted my recent exercise days when I attempted to sync

I just tried to sync an exercise and the app shows the zone minutes, but it deleted the entire week's data. It shows 0 exercise days. When I tap on the month view, I can see the highlighted exercise days, but there is no data. When I go back in weeks, it starts deleting each week's exercise days.

I updated the app. I logged out and logged back in. I logged out, restarted my phone, and logged back in. I resynced a million times. I restarted the device itself. Nothing works, and this is the main reason to use fitbit -- to track my activity.

Any ideas on fixes or should I throw this in the trash and switch to Apple? It's fitbit charge 5 and it's had problems off and on the last two years and this may be the last straw.

I'm having the exact same issues.  Yesterday, I noticed Wednesday day was gone.  This morning, Thursday was gone and this afternoon, Friday is also gone.  Also, my step counter not only adds steps to my actual count but it stops counting all together.  I have done everything you have, multiple times with the same issues.  I think I saw that Google did another one of their fabulous updates on 9/4/24.  I am so over this and am looking at other options.  I've been with Fitbit for over 7 years with no issues until Google took it over.  They broke what never needed fixing.  Bravo, Google (sarcasm).

I’m having the same issue too. It’s auto recognizing and recording walks that I go on, but not the weight exercise sessions I manually log. Plus previous workout data is gone. Hopefully a bug App Update soon helps

Having this issue, it's deleted at least 3 day's. Seems everyday it's deleting one

Still happening for me too. They are getting tons of bad reviews on the app store about this specific issue and just keep pasting links to their syncing troubleshooting page, which is irrelevant and not a fix at all. This is obviously not a problem a few people are having with their unique devices. Why aren't they fixing it?

16 days later and no real change.  Fitbit seems to now have a problem with Wednesdays.  Dropping my exercise day, still.  What the heck, Google?  You took a great app and have steadily made it worse in the last almost year.  No, I will not use a Google device - I am very happy with my Fitbit Charge 3 &, now, although not as much, Charge 4.  I do not need a pallet size watch nor do I need to know what the space-time continuum of the universe in technicolor.

Google's Customer Service is an oxymoron.

I've found that side swiping the exercise days while in the "week" mode both right and left will show some lost days in the previous weeks and then when coming back to the present the lost exercise days reappear. They're not really lost. I exercise 7 days a week and lately when reviewing past weeks seem to have lost 4 or 5 days on some weeks. Side swipe left and right and a different number of lost exercise days reappear. Go quickly and retain all 7 exercise days. If you look at the "month" mode, forget it! The calendar month also scrolls left and right with a side swipe but often only displays 4 to 14 exercise days. I should have 30 or 31. They disappear very fast. LET'S HAVE A FIX GOOGLE!!!

I've also found that my lap pace/duration set at 400 meter laps has duplicated each lap on the report. This is the lap distance set on the Versa 2 exercise settings. There's another lap setting on the app that starts at 800 meters up to 10 kilometers. I think this is for the frequency of playing exercise cues. The lap report used to give me the lap duration (time) for each 400 meter lap like it does on my Versa 2 exercise summary. I'd like that time back.2 km exercise doubled laps2 km exercise doubled laps
