App does not work

My app continually resets and says I have not burned any calories, and stays “stuck” on this for hours at a time. I will hit my hourly active goals for the day, and I will get the notification when I have hit 14 hours, but then the app will say I didn’t hit the goal. I will be in a strenuous workout, and it will say my heart rate is 95. The app has gotten significantly less reliable and I will never buy Fitbit again

Hi @IrritatedUser2. Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Versa 4. Sorry to know all the difficulties that you are experiencing with the Fitbit app.

I'd suggest you confirm that you are using the latest version of the Fitbit app and the software of your phone.

Please perform the following steps on the app:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the issue is still happening.

My watch does not track my heart rate correctly, that is the biggest issue
and relogging into the app won’t fix that. While I’m working out, my watch
will say my heat rate is 89, then if I stop my workout and hold my arm at a
certain angle, it will eventually get to a more accurate heart rate of 140.
So while I’m working out, it never tracks my calories burned correctly,
because it’s never tracking my heart rate correctly. I have to stop my
workout continuously to hold my arm at a weird angle to get it to show
something more accurate than in the 80s.
The technology has gotten worse with each new version of the Versa watch. I
restarted my watch last night, woke up this morning and the time was
incorrect. I synced my phone and then the time was correct again. THIS
SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.

If I could afford to buy something different, I would in a heartbeat and
never buy Fitbit again. But, I can’t afford to throw this away and buy a
different brand. It is so frustrating to be stuck with garbage technology.
Anyone who asks what brand to buy for a fitness watch, I will tell them to
never buy Fitbit. I thought I would be a lifelong user, this is my third
watch. The technology has gotten worse and not better with each version I
have bought.
