App freezes when looking at Exercise details!

ANSWERED

Very frustrating. I have tried all the steps clearing Cache, factory resetting my watch. Restarting my iPhone 16. I’m about to cancel my subscription at this point and go with something different.

have deleted the app and reinstalled to my phone but nothing fixes the app freezing when clicking on “exercise days” or my activities 😞 hopefully gets fixed quickly

I have an iPhone 16 max. I have an inspire 3 Fitbit. I cannot access/view the exercise details on the app. The entire app freezes when I try to view the exercise details. I also have my Peloton account connected to my Fitbit.

I am having the same issue since weeks, already reported it

Best Answer

Last time I responded to someone they tried to say that I was spamming my own post.  But to whatever moderator is reading what I put up this is relevant to the issue. I also have the iPhone ProMax 16. I haven’t tried to run it on another device yet to see if I can access the exercise tile. I found that I can access my exercise info through the cardio load tile. It’s not the same but helps a little. Fitbit hasn’t been helpful at all and though this and actually have been somewhat confrontational.  They use to be very kind and helpful. Makes me wonder if they got bought out or something.

They had an update. Nothing was fixed. The exercise tile still freezes the app. I guess when it starts affecting profits they will fix it. Any update from your “team”?

You’d have to ask someone actually on the “team”. I’m just a Fitbit Sense 2
owner having the same problem you are all having.

Same issue here. Started happening about a month or two ago can't pin point when.

thing is for me this is like a key feature and doing varying exercises it means I can't see any of that data now. I'd say personally it's got me wanting to move away from Fitbit entirely.

16 pro max too.

It’s definitely the phone. The app worked fine on my old 11 but now this is screwing up exactly as everyone else’s on here, freezing when I try to open or even scroll past exercise. Combined with the overheating issue and other things not working properly, I’m wondering why I went for the latest model iPhone. Google may not be able to fix it bc it’s on apple’s end.

Hi there

I’m having the same issue as everyone else. Plus this week the two exercise sessions I’ve done aren’t even showing on the app at all. I’ve tried every troubleshoot option as has everyone else. There’s been no app update come through and I process my updates daily. As a matter of fact on checking through my update history, there’s been no Fitbit app update for weeks-months. I’m using an iPhone 16 ProMax which is also up to date.

I don’t think it’s the phone

To JuanFitbit - I just updated the app. As far as I cant tell, I still cannot access my Activity (Exercise) data. In fact, with the new update I now cannot access the exercise I just did today about 2 hours ago. Seems like the progress is backwards. It's frustrating to see a company like Fitbit which provided an accurate, simple to use, fitness watch, is suddenly completely unable to make the app work when it's been working for me for (I'm guessing) at least 4-5 years without a problem. Please, please, please fix these problems or I really will have no choice but to research other brands.

Has been a problem for several weeks and still an issue after 4.44 update. Everything else works fine but as soon as I hit the exercise panel on the main page for the day, the entire app freezes and I have to force close. Can access one exercise displayed right after the main exercise tile but no others or see history. I’m on iPhone 16 pro max.

@JuanFitbit Maybe the fix is a simple as the app is no longer actively linked to the database that contains the Activity data. I'm not a high end tech but sometimes it's just the simplest solution that works.
