I got a new phone. iPhone 8. Had an iPhone 5s. Have the fitbit app transferred. Logged in to fitbit on my new phone. It says I need to turn on my bluetooth. My bluetooth IS turned on. What's the problem?

Hello @NancyRig, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, at this moment I would like to ask you to restart Bluetooth on your phone by going to your phone Settings > Bluetooth. Turn it off for 15 seconds, then turn it back on. Please make sure to restart it from the Settings and not from the Control Center as this will only disconnect you from the current Bluetooth device and will not restart Bluetooth itself.
If this doesn't work please try the following:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

It started syncing again the day after I posted this. I have no clue why as I hadn’t done anything different. It seems to be working fine now.

I had the same problem. I tried this suggestion. No cure. Another suggestion was to reset Alta buy purchasing a new charger that had a switch on it which would reset the device. I cured the problem by returning it to Costco. Problem solved and now i can look at my wrist and tell the time by looking at my Timex. Bye Fitbit.
