App keeps telling me to turn on Bluetooth?

Help! Finally using my Fitbit again and I need to sync it. The app just keeps telling me to turn on Bluetooth before I can sync or update. Bluetooth is on, and it is not recognizing my Charge 2. My iOS is up to date. Toggled Bluetooth off and on, restarted phone, restarted Fitbit... nothing is working.

Thank you for coming to the community with your question. I would suggest force shutting the app then restart the device. Here’s how:

log out of the Fitbit App

now force shut the Fitbit App by swiping the app upward

turn off your iOS device completely and wait 1-2 mins then turn of your iOS device 

wait for your iOS device to completely load

now log into your Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password 

sync your Fitbit Tracker

I have tried your suggestions and it still isn’t recognized.

on the Fitbit Inspire device all I get is the icon and www.fitbit.com/setup which I have already set up my account.

 

please help as I am about to return this.
