I just updated my Fitbit app on my iPhone.
The dashboard, or main screen, always showed me my weight, which I liked.
It now shows me weight lost, and I don't see how to change it back.
It is not helpful to me to know I have lost 0.2 pounds since I changed my goal weight. I want my weight displayed.
Can someone please tell me how to switch it back?
Thank you.

The fix is to set your preferences to “maintain” instead of weight loss or gain. Once you do that, it’ll show your actual weight with pounds to your goal weight underneath in small print.

Hi @Finn333. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around.
Thanks for letting me know that your actual weight isn't displayed on the dashboard, as well for sharing that this started after updating the Fitbit app. I know how important this data is for you and to look into this, I'll need you to provide me with the following:
In the meantime, please try force quitting the Fitbit app and rebooting your phone.

I’m having this issue too and it’s distressing seeing pounds lost instead of my weight. I closed the Fitbit app and restarted my phone to no effect. I have an iPhone 11pro with the most current iOS.

Having the same problem. Never had it before. (Btw LizzyFitbit, the other problems we’ve ALL—not only me—have been complaining about since the update persist.). Restart doesn’t help, force close doesn’t help. I have a 6c iPhone, iOS is the most recent.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve deleted and rebooted the app- that did not fix problem. There was a suggestion to change preferences to “maintain” instead of “lose”. Is it possible for Fitbit to just fix the issue instead of me changing my goals?

You dont have to change your goals, you just need to get into the goal area , keep everything the same or enter the same info and choose maintain.
I think what you are asking is for fitbit to show "weight" or "maintain" by default, but they dont.
So there is actually no preferences or at least it not called that/
1)You need click your weight or weight loss or whatever it shows.
2) Clicking on your weight or weight loss etc will bring you to a screen that on the top line from left to right has an arrow pointing left(back button), the share icon, the cog icon and the + sign to the far right, you want to click the gear icon just to the left of the + sign.
3) The this brings you to another page, click "Goal weight" it's the second item down.
4) This bring you finally to the Lose, Gain, Maintain screen, choose "maintain".
5) After clicking maintain the screen will show your current weight, but ONLY keep your current weight if you truly dont want to lose weight, even if you change this to a different weight trust me the main screen you are trying to show WILL your current weight will still show your current weight. SO I suggest even after changing it to "maintain" enter the weight you want to be. All changing to the weight you want to be after choosing maintain will do is on the main will still show your current weight but will add a tiny line showing how much you want to lose.
6) Click next it bring you to body fat, enter in what you want to be or leave it.
7) Click save
😎 The click the back arrow on top line to far left, then click the back arrow on top line again and you will see the main fitbit screen and your weight will show current weight with a little line under stating lbs to lose.
