Could be a change to the IOS App.  Could be a change to the Alta HR firmware.  Could be a change to server software.  If I know my sleep start and end times I can enter them through the Dashboard on my Mac (after going through the landing page and its advertising twice nowadays) and enter the start and end times if I know them.  If I enter the start and end times, then I can get the usual Deep / Light / REM /Awake graph. However I generally don't know the start time with any precision.  I hope that there is a fix released soon.  The old system had its problems in that it frequently reported time spent being still trying to get back to sleep as time in light sleep.  I assumed that that problem was a limitation of the Alta HR's sensors (and unwillingness to let the customer tinker with the details of the sleep chart to fix the reporting error).  This new problem is more annoying:  A feature that used to work has been removed.

Spoiler
I’m experiencing the same thing with my Charge3.  The past two nights it doesn’t record any sleep.  Very annoying.

Note the the problem was transient for me, but some users on the Sleep Well board have reported similar symptoms with longer duration.  Does anyone from Fitbit software development monitor this board?  Is there an incident ID and a status on this report?
