App won’t sync

As of yesterday, 6/3, my app won’t sync with my Fitbit Charge 5 and I can’t even charge my fitbit.  I tried powering my phone off and back on, but it still won’t sync.  Do I need to do something with my Fitbit as well?

 Hi @Breitsd - if your device gets low on battery it may not be able to sync.

First solve charging the device and once fully charged look here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Thanks. I tried a different charger and sure enough my battery was
completely drained. It was at 89% the previous day and I believe that the
battery got completely drained due to the multiple attempts to sync. So,
something caused this problem beyond my charger. I do have to kind of
laugh about how much it bothers me that I’m now missing two days worth of
data!
