Battery indicator on app shows low but it's fully charged.

I just finished charging my Charge HR (the display on the band showed full). I've been wearing it for about 2 hours now and the battery indicator in the iOS app shows it almost empty at red which can't be. Is it an app bug perhaps?

+1 for the restart app solution.

The app developer must have missed to get the new battery level value on a "sync-is-done" event.

My charge HR is tracking fine, everything is showing on the watch, but the app itself says "battery empty." I tried deleting the device and repairing, I restarted the app, I turned off Bluetooth and restarted the app, but none of this fixed it. What gives?

Just sync'ed mine 40 secs ago and still indicates empty - sync'ed from PC and iPad

Unfortunately my husband's iphone will not sync, the Fitbit app shows "looking" and will look forever. His battery is fully charged.  I have done a hard reboot on his iphone, and that did not help.  I actually removed the Fitbit app and reinstalled it, did another hard reboot of the phone, and that still does not work either.  So he cannot look up anything on the app, including sleep, etc.

Any other ideas?

Sounds like it is not fully synced.  Same thing happened to me.  Try turning the bluetooth on and off and sync again.  if it is still there, you can either wait and see or restart your fitbit.

Here are the instructions to restart:

  1. Plug your charging cable into the USB port and insert the other end into the port on the back of your Fitbit Charge HR™. Your Charge HR will begin charging.
  2. Press and hold the button for 10 to 12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number (e.g. "V30").
  3. Let go of the button.
  4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

roblem!!!

@CiGI what smartphone are you trying to connect to?  Is it on the list of compatible devices?

https://www.fitbit.com/devices

Also toggling the bluetooth on and off often helps.  Also check to make sure the fitbit comes up "connected" in the blue tooth settings menu.

I got in touch with the support team and they told me to put the little USB dongle that came with it into my computer to sync and thus either for me. Have you tried this?

Kind regards

Tried this with my new Charge 2 and it is not the solution to me. Does anyone have a solution that works?

@wildchylde What's important to note is that the battery level displayed in the Fitbit App is the battery level from the last time you synced your tracker.

Syncing your tracker will update the battery level in your app to the current level. Hope this helps!

Hi
If I remember rightly you have to insert the small little usb that came with it into your pc and let it charge that way by going through your settings. Hope this helps.
