Battery status and live heart rate disappeared from Fitbit app

Until today my iPhone app showed the current heart rate from my Inspire 3. It also showed the battery charge state of the inspire 3 in the top right hand corner. As of today battery status and live heart rate have vanished. This does not seem like progress - especially as I need reading glasses to see the heart rate on the device!
