My iPhone has stopped syncing with my Fitbit Charge HR. Message is that I need to set up device with Bluetooth. Have checked phone settings and Fitbit is on list of devices but no info re how to get it working. Only option given is to "Forget this device". Can anyone advise how I can resolve this ?

Hi @Terrib52, I think I can help!

So what's important to note is that a Bluetooth bond is not required to sync your Charge HR with your iOS device, the Bluetooth bond is used for call notifications and seeing live data in the App.

If you already have a Bluetooth bond set up and you aren't receiving call notifications on your Charge HR, I'd recommend the steps mentioned here.

Afterwards if your tracker is still not syncing for some reason, I'd then recommend:

1. Restart your tracker.

2. Reboot your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

4. Open the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.

Hope this helps!

I've been having the same difficulty with my Charge 2 not providing notifications for calls or texts on my iPhone 6.  I bought my Charge2 at the beginning of December and notifications worked for a couple of days but not since then.  I have tried all the suggestions that have been posted multiple times and it's not working.  Help please.

Hello @Tiggerific, it's great to have you on board, welcome! Smiley Happy

If you have already tried the instructions on  @DerrickS's previous post and your tracker is still unable to receive notifications, please make sure Notifications are enabled on your phone and your tracker.

To check your tracker:

Tap on the button to scroll down between screens, when you see Notifications, please press the button for 2 seconds until it vibrates, this will enable or disable notifications and an icon will indicate the current stats.

To check on your phone:

Go to Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the following options are enabled:

  • Allow Notifications
  • Show in Notification Center
  • Show on Lock Screen
  • Alert Style set to Banners or Alerts.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
