My calories seems to be very inaccurate 400 steps and over 900 calories burnt

Any idea how to fix this?

We would need more information.  I don't know if you think think you are credited too many or too few steps or calories, or why?

If you think Fitbit shows too many calories burned, remember Fitbit includes your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories that you are always burning just to stay alive.  These are always credited even when not wearing the tracker.

See How does my Fitbit device calculate calories burned?

i understand how this may be misleading when looking at it but it’s not saying the 400 steps burned all those volatiles but your body’s base rate and what your body does just to breathe and move and eat and whatnot burn calories in itself and fit bit includes that in the number :)) so i hope that’s helpful but i believe that is why !!

Exactly, but also all those things counting since midnight, not just while doing the steps.
