Calorie deficit vs in the zone

Hey guys! I'm just wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong when it comes to the "in the zone" and calorie deficit feature of the app. I have it set up so that I have a calorie deficit of 500 calories each day (just started last night). At this point, it's 11:20am and The calories I have eaten are about 500 calories below my calories burned. However my gauge is telling me that I am over my budget. I would say I am under it... so have I done something wrong?

See? I have a 544 calorie difference, but my gauge says over budget and it's saying I have a 0 daily calorie goal? I'm not sure what that is either. I used the option for the computer to set my goals based on how much weight I want to use, not set it manually. This is what my dashboard tile looks like IMG_5457.PNG

So why does it say I'm over budget? And how do I fix or use it properly?

Update/Edit:

I manually set my calorie intake to 2000 and it started giving me variances in the "zoning" whether I was under over or above. When I try to set it to where the computer does the calculating, it doesnt update the daily goal calories. Currently still says 2000 calories is my goal. Trying to unistall and reinstall it now.
