I just opened the Fitbit to set it up. I completed set up and the calories burned stayed at 1600 while everything else went to 0 which is accurate since I haven't used it. How do I get my calories to reset?

Welcome to fitbit!

I think your fitbit is probably working fine.

As well as tracking calories you burn through activity, your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings (age, weight etc) so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them. What you are seeing is the total BMR calories since midnight. There's more information on this here:

Thank you! I guess I should have read before posting. I was originally under the assumption it only did calories burnt during activity.
