Can I prevent the app from automatically adding sleep times?

I have a Fitbit One which I've been using to track both walking and sleep since May 2015. I have had an ongoing problem with the sleep tracking since I got it. The iPhone app is always trying to guess when I slept, and adding sleep times to my tracker that aren't accurate. Each day I open it to add the start and end times of my sleep from the previous night, and about twice a week it has added a bunch of sleep from the previous day, during times when I was sitting at the computer or something else inactive. It is never correct so I always have to delete it. Is there a way to turn off this feature so that it never tries to guess when I slept? Thanks!

In this situation I would like to suggest restarting your tracker first:

  1. Plug your tracker into the charging cable, which needs to be connected to your computer. When you hear a click, you will know your One is in the charging cable properly.
  2. Hold down the button on your tracker for 12 seconds.
  3. Remove your tracker from the charging cable.
  4. Press the button on your tracker until the screen lights up.

After restarting your tracker, go to the Device Settings on your online Dashboard and change the Sleep Sensitivity from Normal to Sensitive, then sync your tracker. If the sleep sensitivity is already on Sensitive, change it to Normal and sync, then change it back to Sensitive and sync once again. Please monitor your tracker for 24 hours and let me know the issue gets resolved.

Hm it did it again. I had switched it back from sensitive to normal several days ago. Today the app shows 8 minutes of sleep yesterday evening. Do I have to keep it on sensitive forever to prevent it from doing this?

And now it's added 4 hours for yesterday. Not sure how to change the status of this thread to unresolved.
