I’m facing this issue where I cannot key in decimal places when entering body fat percentage, in the Fitbit app for iPhone. For example, I want to enter 14.6%, but can only type 14%. I’m using iPhone X running iOS 13.2.3. Anybody has a solution to this? Thanks!

NICE, I can input the number I want that way. Good find. But it doesn’t save for me 😞

Same here. I have to go to my Fitbit dashboard to get around the problem.

I can edit an existing entry with a decimal. I noticed the problem when I went from 19.0 to 18.9 that I once I edited backwards, I could not enter more than two characters for my new body fat percentage.

Use the calculator as a workaround. I entered my body fat percentage from the calculator app I.e. 12.3, double click the number, click copy, then paste the number in the Fitbit app.
less annoying than going to the website dashboard. But it seems so ridiculous that something so simple in the app broke and is so difficult to fix.

Another similar way is to enter 23, then insert the decimal between 2 & 3. Then insert the 2 before the decimal, resulting in 22.3. Placing the insertion can be very tricky, much more difficult than FitBit fixing the problem. Running iPhone XR, MacBook Pro, old iPad, all latest updates.

Just got an iPhone XR, running iOS 13.3
And latest fitbit app
Cannot enter decimal point on BF%
The Calculator copy/paste to FitBit does work, but is annoying.

So after doing the calculator thing yesterday
I was able to update my BF % by just erasing the trailing digit and putting in a new one.
I am guessing that when I drop to 11.9 or something, that I will have to use the calculator method again...currently at 12.2%

2 months to fix a decimal input... bug Perhaps Googles less than subtle way of saying we will support android, not iOs. Maybe Fitbit developers are fleeing the new owner? Horrible. Just horrible.
