Can't repair Alta to to iPhone

I accidentally disconnected my Alta from my iPhone. It wasn't syncing through the app, so I tried to unpair/forget the device, but now I can't reconnect it. 

The Alta still shows up in the app (which I tried to delete and reinstall) but the app can't find it and sync.

Can someone walk me through how to do this?

Welcome to the Community @abbypadd! Let me help you setting up your Alta. First I recommend fully charging it, then perform the restart 2 or 3 times in a row. Follow the steps below in order to set it up as a new device: 

 

  1. On the Fitbit app for iOS dashboard, tap the Account tab.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.
