I can only see one line of text in the challenges—the rest of the text is cut off. This is only iOS as the Apple users are having the same problem but not the Android users. I don’t see a post for this and it’s been going on for a couple of weeks. I’ve closed and opened the app, reinstalled, rebooted my phone. Is this problem being worked on?

Thank you for the tip on performing the manual update in the App Store.
That did the trick. I can’t believe it is finally fixed! 🤯--

Oh wow finally it worked!! Thanks for the tip. Did not even know there is something like a manual update where the update doesn’t show up automatically! But hurray!

Holy shoot-a-roo! It's working! Wonder if Google taking over Fitbit had anything to do with this?

That will be great and much appreciated.
I thought it would never happen and had given up hope.. We have reduced our Fitbit group app usage quite a bit over the last few months. Maybe fixing this and some of the other bugs will help bring folks back. @Batttler was right. Maybe Google cares about fixing it when FitBit did not.
The FitBit app has slid down to 7th most popular fitness app in the App Store from where they used to be. That was back when they were the innovators and were updating and improving the app regularly.
I sent the fix notice to our groups to have them update and give it a try. I see the Message Envelope notification bug is still there and different now in that you can't acknowledge the alert, but this message truncation could be the first FitBit bug fix I can remember.
It would really be awesome if they will give the app some badly needed attention.
Woo-Hooo!!! FitBit things are looking up! 😀

What version of IOS are you using? The Fitbit app version with the fix seems to be 3.37. What version are you using?
You can check in the IOS FitBit App under "Account->Help & Support" Looks like 3.37 (1022) works.

I had to go to the App Store and manually update. Did you try that?

You need to make sure your iPhone iOS is up to date. Also, go to the App Store and search for the Fitbit app. Click on it, and you should be able to click a button that says “update”.

Don’t thank Fitbit- they obviously didn’t care. Thank Google- they bought the company and fixed the bug straight off!

Hallelujah!! The Google Gods have finally answered my prayers!!
I may stick with Fitbit after all, although my husband is pressing hard for me to get an Apple Watch. I like my Fitbit and love my challenge friends so I’m glad this major frustration is behind us all. Now they just need to work on longer lasting hardware for those of us who wear our Fitbits in the pool on a regular basis. Thank you Google!!!
