Hello My wife has resently had an affair with someone that friended her in her fit bit app. Is there a way to turn off all of that or do we just need to delete the fitbit app.It is a usefull tool for both of us in our journey in getting healthy .
Ps for anyone wanting to give me **ahem** on this yes I know she can still find other ways if she isnt happy in our marriage, she is sorry we are getting help thanks in advance, R

Hi @slotiper without the app, the Fitbit can't sync the information to the servers to keep the stats. My suggestion would be to remove the app on your wife's phone and put it on your own. You can log out of your account and into her account on your phone. She can sync when you're together and you can intercept any unwanted messages. It might be a good idea to change the email address used and the password, that way you would control everything except her steps. Glad you and the wife are working things out and I wish you well.

Forgot to add - the social media aspect can't be removed. You can turn off notifications, but you can't stop people messaging.

@slotiper If this person is making contact within the Feed, there is a way to report the post. There is an ellipsis in the upper right. I also think your wife will be able to block the user this way if she continues through all the steps. I'm sure this person is already off the Friends list, but if not, you can block this user before removing him.
I get spam friend requests (new users with no activity) and this is how I deal with that. I hope she can find a way to block the user.
