Can you get Charge HR to Sync to Phone Before Opening Fitbit App?

Hey All,

I'm trying to find out if there's a way to get my Charge HR to sync to my iOS 9.3 iPhone before I open the Fitbit app.

When I click the fitbit app it says looking...syncing...connected. It only shows my stats after it says connected, and the process of it getting connected takes 5 or 6 seconds. 

Does anyone know if there's a way to have the Charge HR sync or be connected to the phone before opening the app? It's a little frustrating having to wait for the connection every time after opening the app. I'm guessing I'm missing something pretty simple!

Hi @unreal1444 and welcome to the Fitbit Community!

The following steps should help you out:

1. Turn off Bluetooth on your iOS device, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
2. If your tracker didn't sync, force quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
3. If your tracker didn't sync for a second time, reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
4. Restart your tracker.
