@Derek01  The app store says that the Fitbit app is for the iPhone only.  But it will download to your iPad.

I had the app on my iPad when I was using a One and a Charge HR.  I had a very frustrating hour or so when I upgraded to a Charge 2.  My iPad couldn't connect with my Charge 2 even though the tracker was showing in the upper left corner.  I learned that since I have phone and text Notifications turned on with my phone, it is tightly paired and won't connect with any other device -- unless I turn the notifications off.  Just thought I would add this to save others from the same frustration.  And I deleted the app from my iPad.
