Cannot pair Versa 2 to iPhone on 13.1.3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just bought a new iPhone and cannot get versa 2 to pair with it.  I’ve already read a number of other similar posts/threads on the topic and tried all the recommended solutions but still cannot get the phone to detect the device.  I know the versa is broadcasting because it shows as available on an android 10 device, but is not even detected by the iPhone.

Hi @JennMF. Welcome! It's nice to see a new face around.

I'm glad that you got the Versa 2 and thanks for trying some steps prior posting. Let's work on this together! Before anything else, if you have access to your previous phone please remove your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings. Then, do the same if your Versa 2 appears on your new iPhone. Once that is done, please give a try to the following in the given order:

  1. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your Fitbit Versa 2.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon.
  5. Tap on setup a device, choose your Versa 2 and follow the onscreen instructions.
  6. Then set up the notifications to pair your Versa 2 via Bluetooth.

I'll be around, keep me posted!

Already did all that before posting as those same instructions have already been posted in several other threads.  Also verified the app is shared with Bluetooth. Followed the instructions yet again, but the versa2 is still not detected.
The Bluetooth settings on the phone state no device detected.  I verified that the phone can detect other Bluetooth devices to rule out a Bluetooth issue on the phone.  The only thing it doesn’t detect is the versa 2.

This is a new iPhone 11 w/iOS 13.1.3

Fitbit app is updated to 3.8

Versa 2 firmware version is 32.33.1.30

Hi @JennMF. I'm glad to see you here again and I'm sorry for the delay.

Thanks for your efforts while working to get your Versa connected. I confirmed that your iPhone 11 is a compatible device and since the steps didn't work, I've requested a case to our Support team so they can give you a hand. They'll contact you back via email, keep an eye on your inbox.

See you around!

I am having the same issue, but I don’t have a new phone just updated to the ios13 something. I have troubleshooted all the ways mentioned above. I’m not receiving any notifications on my versa2. Help please.

I’m having the same issue.

This Versa 2 that’s only 3 months old

1)Can be found by my iPhone 6 but not my 13.1.3 iPhone 11 Pro, what I actually use daily,

2)Even connecting time my old phone, it won’t fix the fact that the time and date are WAY off. It used to be 2 hours exactly that it was behind, but it’s gotten WORSE as I’ve tried to fix this. Plus I deleted all my info trying to fix the situation.

Needless to say, I’m not happy.

Many of us are working from home until further notice, so we get that an answer is not imminent if you have to see with your tech staff, but....    It's been weeks now.

THanks.

Hello, i have the same issue with my 2 month old Versa 2 and iPhone 6. Tried already all the steps- Bluetooth on and off, restarts Versa and all that, no luck. Any ideas how to get the connection up? My problem is also that the time is 5 hours behind so watch is fully unusable until connection can be made. Help!

Just got the SE won’t connect. I’ve tried deleting the app, restarting my phone and Versa 2, turning my Bluetooth off and then on again. I’m at a loss at this point.

Hi, my Versa 2 will not connect to Bluetooth. Was working, I upgraded my phone to iPhone 11pro, worked perfectly for 24 hours then just stopped. Have tried all the mentioned things of turning off Bluetooth, the phone, the Versa numerous times. Uninstalled the Versa from the app. It will not show up as a device on my Bluetooth any more. Can’t add to the app because it’s won’t even show up on my phone.
