Cannot set up Sense 2 with my existing Charge 6

Trying to set up my new Sense 2… When I hit add device, it shows this message “Replace Charge 6 with Sense 2:   This will disconnect Charge 6 from your account.” I want both watches to exist on the same account. What do I do?

Sorry for being short with my last answer.  It is possible with only a few of the older devices, the Charge 2 perhaps having been the last of them being compatible to coexist with later devices, having two devices together.  This has been a much-requested feature for many years and Fitbit is aware the user want it, but it is not likely to be added back.

There was some note/explanation of this in the old Fitbit Help that was since rewritten, and I think that section was removed.  I saved a copy of that section to paste as explanation to users here, but am having trouble finding it now. - aha - got it.

Take it at its word; one device per account.

I’ve had a charge 2 and a charge 6 together on the same account prior to purchasing this watch… no problem. Why is it a problem now?
