Cannot start exercise in IOS app.

Today the start exercise function in the IOS app isn't working. I press the plus sign and select to start exercise but then the next screen is not shown. I cannot continue to select WALK for my exercise. The normal exercise progress/tracking screen is not shown.

I have ended the application and restarted it, I have synched with my Inspire 3. I am running Version 20001.210.26

Location services are set to "while using" and has been working this way till today. Setting location services to "Always" does not fix this issue.

Any ideas on why this has failed without any error message or additional information?

TIA

@seaward It's good to see you around.

Thanks for letting me know about the Fitbit app and your efforts while working on this matter. I understand your frustration and rest assured I'll help you out. Before anything else, could you confirm what you mean by ending the app?

In the meantime, let me recommend force quitting the Fitbit app, uninstalling it and rebooting your phone one more time. Once that is done, open the Fitbit app, log back in to your account and try tracking an exercise to see if it starts working correctly.

After a couple of days it started to work again. It has been good since that those couple of days. I just used the step counts and basically waited and it came to its senses. I didn't have to directly threaten it but it may have heard me swearing and decided to shape up.

Thanks for your reply
