I have a fitbit Iconic that was replaced by fitbit - I have reset my fitbit password online however I cannot enter the password that I just set into my phone - so esentially I have a very much detuned fit bit that will not sync.

Based on your description I’d suggest calling Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US. They can help you regain your account I’m sure
