Charge 2 not receiving notifications

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I got my charge 2 yesterday. It is all working ok, except that I am not receiving any notifications on the device. I looked at a previous post re this problem and followed instructions. It's paired with an iPhone 6. I went to settings-notification-Fitbit allow all notifications. That does not work. I've also tried to hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the watch to receive notifications. Any ideas?

Hello @Lou8blue, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

If you have already checked your phone settings and pressed the button on the side of your Charge 2 to check that your tracker is not currently in the "Do Not Disturb" mode, let's try to reset Notifications in your tracker and phone:

  1. Restart your Charge 2
  2. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone, check if your tracker is currently in the paired devices list. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  3. Go back to your phone settings and make sure "Do Not Disturb" is off.
  4. Restart your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on Account > Charge 2 > Notifications.
  6. Enable Notifications once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Hi, many thanks for your reply. I am getting. Rey frustrated and annoyed. I have taken all the steps you suggested and others too. Still not receiving any notification from my iPhone 6? What will I do now?  It is not functioning as advertised. Thank you
