Charge 2 not syncing with Fitbit app on iOS 10.2.1

Now I'm not syncing with my iPad either because of this iOS software update.  Can anyone from Fitbit help?  It seems like the Charge 2 is no longer compatible with the new iOS.  Unless there is some other solution?  Really really appreciate any help that anyone can offer!

Hello @ChristineGerman, I hope you're having a great day, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

With which devices are you trying to sync your tracker other than your iPad? When did you started experiencing this issue? Please remember that your Charge 2 can sync with various devices. However, if you have set up Notifications on your Charge 2, the tracker will form a bond with the device sending the notifications and that will prevent the tracker from syncing with any other.

In this particular case I would like to suggest the following:

  1. Make sure you're running the latest version of the Fitbit app, you can check if you have updated the app by going to the App Store > Updates tab.
  2. Go to the Bluetooth settings of any device that has synced with your Charge 2, check if the tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  3. Restart your Charge 2
  4. Restart your devices (iPad, iPhone, other mobile devices used to sync the tracker)
  5. Try to sync once again.

If that doesn't do the trick, let's try to add your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between your devices and the tracker. Don't worry, this won't remove any of the information stored in your account so far.

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
