Charge 2, ipadOS 16.2. Doesn't auto-sync (or background sync, or whatever you call it). It worked fine for 5 years and then SUDDENLY it's broken. Also "all day sync" toggle is gone from app. And as final punch you stopped supporting your own radio-dongle, for which I paid extra money to have possibility to sync via my mac.
So, now I have to OPEN app each time to sync. PERFECT USER EXPERIENCE, just a dream.

I am using a charge two and a charge for daily. I have noticed that the charge for is updating much slower than it used to. The charge to updates, intermittently, and I have found that by backing out of the iOS app and re-opening while using the charge to that, it does not always update to the current numbers, and if it does, it is extremely slow. I have resorted to clipping on my profile/the picture then clicking on charge two and then on sync and re-syncing multiple times before exiting profile/picture to make sure that the iOS app has updated correctly. I.

Hi there, @mf_denis. @Podunk Thanks for your insights.
I'm sorry for the experience that you're having and I appreciate your efforts while troubleshooting your Charge 2. Before anything else, let me clarify the All-Day Sync button was removed as all our Fitbit devices have the ability to sync automatically with the Fitbit app, as long as the requirements are met.
I understand this isn't your case and just to confirm, do you have other Bluetooth connections nearby? Keep in mind that if you have multiple devices nearby, your phone will be confused as to which one it should connect. That being said, let me recommend these other steps:

This appears to be a reoccurrence of a problem that existed many months ago. This morning when the iOS app was not refreshing as normal, I went to profile/picture and did a re-sync. Monitoring the home screen of the iOS app. I noted that the numbers were not updating as they had yesterday and routinely in the past. Using the time of saying I continued exercising and after 15 minutes the home screen updated. There was a time in the past where screens locked and then refreshed at 15 minute increments and I am wondering if this is related to the past problem. It is frustrating for me, because I rely on the iOS screen, and my Apple voice over screen reader to keep track of my steps and activity, because I am unable to read , the Fitbit devices I own. Most people would not notice the screen freezing unless they were using it to monitor their activity in place of a Fitbit tracker or watch. The screen does not always update when you back out of the app and then re-open it it does Tend to update when you click on profile/picture device, and then sync the device.
