So, I have have this issue for about 6 months now. I can pair my Fitbit to my phone and set up the notifications. Within a few hours the notifications will stop and my Fitbit will no longer be paired to my phone. I am using an iPhone 8 Plus. Before I could just pair the two and the notifications would work again. Now I am having to remove the Charge 3 from the app on my phone and go through the device setup all over. I did it just this morning and now less than 6 hours later the two have lost pairing. What can I do to get this fixed once and for all? The only device paired to my Fitbit is my iPhone.

Hi @bwestfall. It's nice to see you around.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for the steps tried prior posting. I see where you're coming from about your Charge 3 not staying connected and let me give you a hand with this. Before anything else, by no longer be paired do you mean that it disconnects from the Bluetooth? Or does it disconnect from the Fitbit app? Although you have only synced your tracker to your iPhone 8 Plus, do you have multiple Bluetooth connections nearby, such as computers, other phones or tablets?
To work on this together, I'd recommend to give a try to the following steps:
- Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, tap on the icon next to your Charge 3 and then press Forget this device.
- Turn off the Bluetooth in your phone and any other mobile device nearby.
- Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
- Restart your Charge 3.
- Turn on the Bluetooth in your phone and open the Fitbit app.
- Pull down on the screen to force a manual sync. You'll be prompt to a pair authorization, tap pair to re-establish the Bluetooth connection between your tracker and the Fitbit app.
Let me know how it goes.

The charge 3 does remain connected to my iPhone’s Bluetooth, but I no longer receive notifications that I have set up in the app.
Yes, we have many Bluetooth devices on tablets, laptops and other devices. None of these other devices are paired to my charge 3, only my phone.
I have removed the device and added it many times. It will pair and work but I am having to do this on a daily basis.

So, I assume there is no fix for this as I have not seen any response. Time to return it for credit and purchase an Apple Watch that will work as it was designed.
