Charge 3 won't sync after updating to iOS 13

I have charge 2 and it is working fine since iOS 13 update.  However my husbands charge 3 won’t sync.  It won’t connect to Bluetooth.  Bluetooth connection just spins and spins.  Have tried turning on and off.  Have tried rebooting iphone.  Have tried rebooting Fitbit.  Still nothing.

Thanks for letting me know about your husband's Charge 3. You did a great job with the troubleshooting steps, and let's work on this together. Sometimes this is caused when there are other Bluetooth connections nearby, to prevent any interference make sure to take your phone and Charge 2 to another room. Then, please give a try to the following steps:

 

  1. If the Charge 3 shows up in the Bluetooth settings, please remove it.
  2. Then force quit the Fitbit app and verify if the Fitbit app is updated.
  3. Reboot his phone one more time.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on profile's icon > Charge 3 > Sync now.
  5. Tap on notifications and follow the onscreen instructions to pair via Bluetooth.

Hi. Thank you so much for your help. I finally got it working. I had to delete the fitbit app and do a hard reboot on the iPhone. Crossing fingers everything keeps working. Lol. Again thank you for your suggestions!

Everything you guys have suggested isn’t working for me. I personally didn’t try putting my text messages on preview but that is not something I want to do. Does the app needed to be updated the creators end to give us a new update to see if that works ??
