Charge 3 working but not syncing with IPhone 7 or Dashboard 12/13/2022

I tried closing & reopening Fitbit app on my iPhone  7 - didn't work.  My bluetooth setting says Charge 3 is connected.  My online dashboard shows data prior to today.  It says the last sync was 6:00 AM today (12/13/2022).   I don't want to delete the app because all my data will be lost.  Any insights?

Did you try restarting your Charge 3?  A simple restart doesn't delete unsynced data.  Open your Settings app on your Charge 3 > About > Reboot Device.

This is more of a clean sweep restart.

  • Log out of your Fitbit app
  • Restart your phone
  • Log back in

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't think about rebooting.  I finally got the syncing restarted by deleting the Fitbit app from my iPhone & reinstalling the current app from Apple yesterday.  Everything is working now & I don't think I lost any data.  I appreciate your help.
