Charge 5 won't stay connected to Bluetooth

I just bought the Charge 5 after my Charge 4 broke (the connection to one of the band pieces broke off so it cannot be used.).  I was unable to download the update due to connectivity issues and spent A LOT of time going through all recommended procedures.  Finally, a rep was able to get it to connect long enough to load the update.  This has not corrected the problem!!!   Called rep again two days ago, reported the problem and after going through all the procedures yet again, told me tech support would email with a solution.  Have not heard anything.

Is anyone still having difficulties?   Is this only with my Charge 5?  Thinking of returning this and getting an apple watch.

I'm just going to return it I guess.  Im out of options.   Super frustrating!!

I couldn’t deal with the constant issues and returned it. I am now getting used to the Apple Watch.  Had to get additional free apps for steps and sleep. Fitbit was better at monitoring sleep stages, but certainly not worth the aggravation of it constantly not syncing. (And maybe there is a better app for this that will work with the Apple Watch). I also hear the lifespan of the Apple Watch is far better than Fitbit.
Good luck with your Fitbit. I had hoped they would have worked out the bugs by now.
