Charge HR not syncing to phone & mac, not located as new device!

Help! I've been really happy ande dependent on my HR that I got last Christmas, but today it completely stoped syncing 😞 My iPhone (latest update of both phone and app) cannot find the HR AT ALL, and neither can my laptop. I've tried to do all things listed in previous forusm to a T (restarting, turning phone on-off, closing the app, YOU NAME IT) but it does not do anything. It feels like my devices cannot find my HR's bluetooth at all. My computer cannot connect and my phone says pairing is unsuccessful.

I've tried to add it as a new device but like I said, it cannot find it. I'm way due to my return policy 😞 is it time to chuck it?

@parasalyne Welcome to the Community! I'd recommend:

1.Restarting your Charge HR.

2. Reboot your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn it back on.

4. Open the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you have a Bluetooth bond between your tracker and iOS device, this bond may be preventing your tracker from syncing with a computer or a second mobile device. If this is the case, I'd then recommend the troubleshoots mentioned here.

Keep me posted!

I've done all that, and even did the option to "remove this charge HR" from the iOs app itself, and neither my phone nor my laptop (w/ bluetooth turned off after one or the other) can detect my charge HR.

New problem: it's stuck in the progress bar and whenever I try to sync and update with my phone and then my laptop (separately) it comes up with an exclamation mark. Whenever I sync it with my laptop, it says I need to update it so I do that, then it says it's finished--but lo and behold, the screen is still in that half progress bar. This is annoying!

@parasalyne It sounds like your tracker may be stuck in a firmware update. I would recommend trying the troubleshoots mentioned here to finish the update.

Please do not unpair your tracker while you are stuck in a firmware update, this can cause further complications. Hope this helps you get back on track.

I have the exact same problem and tried all troubleshooting tips provided.  Nothing worked.  Any other options?
