Charge HR not syncing with IOS 10.2.1

I synced my Fitbit with the app before going to bed last night. It hasn't worked since then. I have tried closing the app, restarting my phone, even deleting and reinstalling the app, to no avail. When I try to sync, the icon says "looking" and does nothing.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Have you tried restarting your tracker yet? If so, I would like to suggest the following:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone, check if Charge HR is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone for 15 seconds, then turn it back on.
  4. Open the app and check if your tracker starts syncing. If it's not, please try to add it as a new device:
    • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
    • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
    • When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helfpul, give it a try and let me know the outcome! Smiley Wink

I am having the same issue with my flex. I updated my iPhone to 10.2.1. I cannot get it to connect. I tried to turn the Bluetooth on and off and no luck. I tried to remove it and put it back into the app and no luck. I reset my flex in the charger and it still will not connect. I don't know what else to do with it. Please help me. Your my only hope.

Hello @SunsetRunner, I hope you're doing well. Have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @Earlff19, it's gret to have you on board. Smiley Happy

@Earlff19, if your tracker is not pairing to your account after being removed, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, please tap on it and select "Forget this Device", then restart your phone. Now, please plug in your tracker and make sure it's charging before trying to set it up once again in your account.

Please give it a try and if you need anything else, please keep me posted! Smiley Wink

Hello @Earlff19, thanks for taking the time to reply! Smiley Happy

Is your tracker not appearing in the Bluetooth settings of your iPhone? It seems the tracker has a Bluetooth bond with your Android phone, which is preventing the iPhone to sync with it. The bond is formed when you set up Notifications so in case you're not using them, please "remove", "forget" or "unpair" the tracker from the Bluetooth settings on your Android device.

One thing to mention is that if your tracker is already paired to your account, it's not necessary for you to set it up again if you want to use a different mobile device, simply log in to your account and your tracker will already be listed and ready to sync. If it's still not syncing, please restart your Flex and your phone and try again.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's something else I can do for you, please feel free to reply, I'll be happy to help. Smiley Wink

Im having the exact same syncing issues with my charge 2 and have tried all suggestions mentioned. Perhaps the makers of fitbit need to look into the fact it is the ios 10.2.1 update that his bricked fitbits and as with the Blaze, a firmware update is needed to solve this issue?

I tried following these instructions, but the app never seems to find the tracker. I deleted the app, reinstalled it, deleted the device from the phone and now I'm stuck because the app cannot find it. Any other suggestions.
