Charge HR syncing trouble

I have never known such a mundane piece of equipment which is a pain in the butt to sync. I have a brand new iPhone 6, got the app etc everything running perfect except the charge HR being an absolute pile of junk. Cost a fortune and is the most annoying and "needy" price of equipment I have ever owned!
