Clocks went forward overnight. Charge 3 is showing the correct time, but data showing in the iOS app is one hour ahead. This screenshot shows my iPad time is 08:18am, but it’s already showing what my heart-rate will be at 09:15am. Note that there’s also a TWO hour gap in overnight heart-rate tracking.
NOTE: I’m in the UK
This affects all data - heart rate, calories, steps, etc.
How do I correct this? At the moment everything is being tracked one hour ahead of current time.
EDIT: And my Charge 3 is now reminding me to move, even though it’s only 8:50am and I have move reminders set to start at 9:00am. So is this a fault with the Charge 3 watch itself that can’t cope with the start of UK Summer a Time?
UPDATE:
Am I the only one with this bug?
Just did a 25 minute workout, and the workout start time logged correctly at 9:06am, but all the tracking data says “Not enough data available”. Why?

@tarbat This type of wackiness is common with the switch to BST. You are the second user who has posted about a 2 hour time shift problem.
I will flag your post to get moderator attention. In the past it has been fixed in a day.

So what do I need to do to fix it? Surely this sort of problem should be easy to fix in the software.

Been having problems all day since the time change. I have an alta HR and iphone. Firstly it said I woke up an hour ahead of BST.
My hourly activity tracking has been moved on an hour. I keep trying to change it, but it always goes back to the hour ahead.
Also my sleep parameters are an hour ahead - again I keep trying to re set them, but it flips back to an hour ahead.
When I go on my laptop and look at my dashboard and settings, all is correct - just wrong on the app on my iphone and despite syncing numerous times, its still incorrect.

Having the same issue here. Im
in the UK and clocks went forward an hour last night. Data seems to have jumped by two hours when clocks have only gone forward by one and no matter how many times I change my go to sleep and wake up goals they swing back to an hour ahead of that. I have a lot of issues sleeping and find it really helpful use my Fitbit to track my sleep probably more than I do exercise, so this is super annoying. You’d really think after this many years Fitbit would have fixed issues like this. I’ve tried syncing multiple times, restarting the app, uninstalling and reinstalling it, nothing works to fix this. 😕 I’m using an Alta HR and iOS 12.1.4 on an iPhone SE.

So presumably this effected many (all?) users throughout Europe, and will re-occur each Spring and Autumn when the clocks change.
How can we get a message through to the Fitbit developers that this bug needs fixing?

The US had a time change a few weeks ago and this exact same thing happened— everything was 2 hours ahead. The fitbit people put up a post explaining that there might be some weird behavior, so they are definitely aware that the software has issues. It’s beyond me why they can’t figure this out... apparently it’s a thing they warn everyone about twice a year. SMH
the good old news is that my experience was that only one day was messed up and it all went back to normal the next day.

If they can’t fix this bug, then they could at least include it in an FAQ somewhere so when the bug occurs we don’t all try resetting apps, devices, etc, to try to fix the problem when it’s obviously a known problem that should be included in an FAQ.

Hi @tarbat @LZeeW @SunsetRunner @troomp @AliceRM @kiki I'm glad to see you all in the Community! I'll be glad to address the situation with the time change, time shift.
Thank you all for your comments, updates and the information provided.
@LZeeW Thanks for letting me know about this thread.
For those of you using Android, please clean the Fitbit App's cache and restart the App.
For those using iOS, please force quit the App and start it again.
After cleaning the cache and restarting the App please do as follows:
Please make sure that in your phone's settings the time has to be entered manually and not automatically and automatic location is disabled. Do the same in the Fitbit app under Account> Advanced Settings.
Once all automatic features have been disabled and you've entered the correct time, sync your Fitbit devices.
Please keep me posted.

@JuanFitbit , I already have automatic time features turned off in both iOS system settings and the Fitbit app, so that’s not what caused these errors.
Are these the settings you mean?

Both fitbit users in my house are having the same problem. Its got EVERYTHING completely messed up and its more than annoying. Youd think fitbit would be acknowledging the issues and commenting on this already!

@Littlejohn9853 If you look at the top of the screen, there is a bright pink banner that was posted since Sunday morning. I believe that Fitbit is addressing the problem. Follow the link for more help. I, too, have many weird things happening, but they tend to settle out in a day or two.

I live in AK and recently visited family in CO & KS and since then my Fitbit shows the time as 2 hours ahead. How does one fix this? I have an Inspire 2.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MissReese.
Thanks for the details shared in your post. I appreciate your efforts and recommend doing the following:
1. Force stop the Fitbit app and check if it is updated to the latest version by following these steps.
2. Open the Fitbit app and click on your profile photo.
3. Tap App settings and toggle Automatic time zone off/on.
4. Sync your tracker: How do I manually sync my tracker or watch?
For additional troubleshooting instructions, see How do I fix the time on my Fitbit device?
