At least on Android app, first lists total; then click individual user and it shows average.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@BobBobobobobob   I am reading your post different from @JohnnyRow .  To clarify, the main friends list show their previous seven day total step count.  When I checked my individual friends, I saw some averages and some were showing the same seven day total as the main page.  I did a force quit on the app and the display seemed to be back to normal.  The next time I synced my phone and checked, the individual page is showing the total for some and the average for others.

I will flag this to get moderator attention.   Sometimes the first evidence of a bug is a user report.  Your post is very vague.  I didn't understand your issue until @JohnnyRow posted and I looked at my app.  You will get help faster if you describe your issue in more detail.  And if you are posting from the UK, I'm glad you chose "stuffed" instead of the word I think you wanted to use.

Thanks for your reply. I posted on the forum as there didn’t seem to be a customer support area for the iOS app.

The problem is: The iOS app is displaying what appears to be a total instead of average steps per day. This is under community > select a user > “username averages xx steps per day” where the xx is the number of steps. I certainly don’t average 35,000 per day… unless it’s measured in cm rather than steps 🙂

@BobBobobobobob   My app (v 3.44) is showing averages for all my friends on their profile today.  My display is normal.  Is yours still showing totals instead of averages?  Do you have the current app version?
