Unable to set and retain the start/stop hourly step activity times. It is fixed at 5am/2pm. Problem occured with my old Charge 5 and new Charge 6.
I've factory reset my Charge 5 and 6 respectively, logged off all Goggle apps, deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app; I even created a different Gmail account and installed the app, and synced a wiped Charge 5, then 6 with the same problem.
Setting the time zone to fixed or automatic, made no difference.
I can set the start/activity times, but the moment the sync process is completed, the times revert back to 5am/2pm (9hrs).
Other observations:
When I attempt to set the hours of activity less than 5 or greater than 14-hours, I receive the warning message, as expected.
On the ‘Reminders to Move’ screen, the Start/Stop times are ‘greyed-out’, and fixed at 5am/2pm, regardless of what times you enter after pressing the configuration ‘gear’ icon.
Switching to a 24-hr clock, has no effect, except the start/times will display as 05:00/14:00, coincidentally the minimum and maximum hours of activity allowed for steps.
All other user settings within the Fitbit app function properly.
Upgrading my iOS to 18.5 had no effect.
As I said, even with a new Gmail account, and a virgin Fitbit dataset, the problem persists.
By the numbers:
iPhone 15 Pro
iOS 18.5 (same issue with 18.4.2)
Fitbit App: v.4.4.3
Fitbit Charge 6
Version 20001.214.24
(issue first occured w/Charge 5 prompting the purchase of a Charge 6)

@trfedoruk Welcome on board!
Thanks for the detailed information, and the steps that you've tried prior to posting. You've done a good job! I wanted to share with you that our team released the Fitbit app 4.45 version to fix the issue with the Hourly Activity reverting to the previous settings.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and if you haven't done so, please update the Fitbit app as soon as possible and try adjusting your settings one more time to see how it goes this time.
